Thakoor electromechanical manufactures ultra precision drilling machines, models dm06-f and dm-06-v, for manufacturing components having precision holes. Both the models are 6-mm capacity, bench type drilling machines with unique double column construction to make accurate repeated head stock movement with respect to the fixture. The extended throat of 270 mm provides easy passage of a variety of components. The perfect rigid mechanical design with hardened and ground alloy steel spindle, hard chrome plated ground columns, lead screw operated head stock movement and dynamically balanced rotating parts mounted in super precision class bearings, enable vibration free, true running of spindle with finger touch sensitive quill feed mechanism. Dm-06-v is equipped with modern electronic control. This gives stepless spindle speeds from 400 to 25,000 rpm. Dm-06-f is provided with conventional step pulley belt system to give 16 various fixed speeds from 355 to 16,000 rpm. A number of extra accessories such as fabricated stand, keyless drill chuck or precision collet arrangement, coolant equipment, automatic power feeding system, and precision anti-friction co-ordinate positioning tables, can be provided to increase the productivity. Availability of high spindle speeds allow the use of carbide drills or tin coated drills for drilling small clean holes. These machines are most suitable for manufacturing nipples, fuel injection nozzles, watch components, diamond drilling, computer peripherals, printed circuit boards and tool room applications.
