Mag tools supplies paper band cum magnetic coolant filters fabricated in steel which is fixed on a coolant tank with a pump to supply coolant to the machine. The filtering paper is spread in its full width over an endless steel mesh conveyor connected to a geared motor which prevents overflowing of the liquid. The movement of the paper filter is controlled by a float switch actuated to the geared motor. The contaminated coolant liquid is first passed through the magnetic filter which separates almost 95% of the ferrous particles and then through the filter paper which fiters all the non ferrous particles like grinding grit, stainless steel, brass or aluminum. As the porosity of the paper gets filled up with accumulation of the contaminates, the liquid level rises which in turn triggers the float switch to start the geared motor and fresh paper is pulled forward from the reel automatically. Again the liquid starts passing through the fresh paper and the float switch shuts down the geared motor. Paper band filters are applicable for grinding, honing, transfer lines and machining industries..
