Das associates has developed centrifuge for separation of abrasive and metallic particles from cutting oils. It is available in fully automatic and semi-automatic models. They can handle straight cutting oils as well as water soluble coolants used on grinding, honing and other superfinishing operations. The system automatically scrapes the dust accumulated on the inside wall of the centrifuge drum and its collection in the trolley at the bottom. The unit is available in 30, 75 and 150 lpm sizes. The system can handle both magnetic and non-magnetic impurities. Filtration level of 20 microns can be achieved right from the start. The system does away with the necessity of replacing the filter paper.
