Thane-based das associates provides automatic spring coiling machine including fa-30s and fa-10s, which has a segment drive in place of the clutch. The most advantageous feature of this automatic spring coiling machine is the total elimination of inertia effect resulting in increased production and higher accuracy of coil length.Raw material used is of reliable quality and chosen to suit the function of each component. Every component is heat-treated suitably; all castings and fabricated items are stress relieved before machining. This results into stability of the assembly. The front and the rear plates are stress relieved, ground and jig bored in order to achieve high accuracy on co-ordinates. Components are made strictly as per standard drawings enabling easy replacement as and when it is required.Standard automatic coiling machine consists of variable speed drive for different geometry of springs, attachment for conical and double conical springs, retractable mandrel, rh and lh coiling devices, complete set of tools for handling wires, tool tray and machine lamp.The decoiler starts as and when the coiling machine requires the wire. As soon as sufficient wire in the form of loop is available, the decoiling stops. This intermittent operation is performed automatically with use of proximity switches and solid-state control panel. In case the wire gets entangled or cannot be fed for some other reason the decoiler and coiling machine motors get automatically cut-off preventing the wire from breakage. The specifications of fa-30s and fa-10s are as follows: * fa-30s - wire dia: 1.0 to 4.0 mm; spring od: up to 60 mm; production rate: up to 80 springs/min; wire feed length: 1,800 mm.* fa-30s - wire dia: 0.2 to 0.8 mm; spring od: up to 20 mm; production rate: up to 200 springs/min; wire feed length: 850 mm.
