The 7.5 kw spindle power with is040 spindle up to 60- 4,000 spindle rpm provides extremely efficient torque, speed and power characteristics. An outstanding feature of ram type milling head ensures the least overhang between the spindle centreline and the z-axis guideways, resulting in overall better rigidity. Mitsubishi meldas cnc controller with high gain servo system with feed forward gain feature ensures high speed positioning with minimum shape error during free curved surface machining. Program execution through pc link at around 19,200 bps speed, supports on board cnc memory expansion up to 480 kb. Expanded communication networking through ethernet option allows peer to peer networking and file transfer capabilities between other cnc machines in the shop. For die and mould making industry cosmos machine can also be offered with 3-d cad/cam package.
