Cosmos impex [india] pvt ltd has introduced a wide range of cnc face gear indexers, which are manufactured by golden sun industrial co ltd, taiwan. Indexers use high precision birth coupling with a combination of nickel/ bronze worm wheel and a hardened steel worm screw to assure an indexing repeatability of ±2 sees. Minimum increment of 1 or 5 degree comes according to application. The table diameter is ranging from 250 mm to 800 mm. These indexers are ideally suited on vertical machining centres. They help machining of components in one set up. The indexers are also used to mount fixture plates that are supported on the free end by sleeve indexers, which ensure clamping rigidity. This is helpful in mass production or small intricate components. If a 4th axis is available on the machine, these indexers can be integrated into the machining centre directly.. Otherwise, a separate single axis cnc controller can be offered that can be interfaced to the machine tool through m code.
