Agro engineers offers helical gear reducer housing. It is usually made of close grain cast iron or structural steel. They are rugged, corrosion- resistant, and absorb shock and vibration. The reducer gearing is helical type made from high quality alloy steel, hobbed, gas carburised, tempered, and surface finished to class 10 agma quality. That leads to a very good efficiency and a quiet working condition. The shafts are from alloy steel forging or bars heat-treated. Low speed shafts can be solid or hollow type. Bearings are fitted on a ground journal and are spherical roller and taper roller type. Apart from standard range, gearboxes are also tailor-made to suit individual requirement or as per specifications provided. They are available in centre distances from 175 to 750 mm, sing stage or multiple stage reduction, and tailor-made as per specification.
