Agro engineers manufactures pump jack helical gearboxes of international quality. These gearboxes are fabricated from close grain cast iron or structural steel, and they are rugged, corrosion resistant and also absorb shock and vibration. The reducer gearing is of helical type made from high quality alloy steel, hobbed, gas carburised, tempered and surface finished to class 8 agma quality having a 2.0 service factor thereby leading to very good efficiency and silent working conditions. The shafts are made of alloy steel forging and the bars are heat treated while the low speed shafts are of solid or hollow type. The gearbox has bearings fitted on a ground journal, which are of spherical roller or/and taper roller type. The gearboxes are heavy-duty units having a superior self-oiling system for extended life in the field and oil level indicators for easier maintenance.
