Four Stroke Air Cooled Diesel Engine finds applications in workshop, generating set, floor mill, huller, cotton ginning expeller, concrete mixer etc. Engine`s moving parts are lubricated by force feed and partly by splash lubrication. A throwaway type bypass filter is provided for filtering the lubricating oil.
Key Features of Four Stroke Air Cooled Diesel Engine
- Combustion Chamber: Direct injection in open type combustion chamber provided in an aluminum alloy piston with long stem multihole nozzle result in low fuel consumption and easy starting.
- Fuel System: High speed diesel is supplied to the fuel pump by gravity feed through an efficient replaceable paper element type main filter.
- Lubrication: Engine`s moving parts are lubricated by force feed and partly by splash lubrication. A throwaway type bypass filter is provided for filtering the lubricating oil. Lub. oil is supplied under constant pressure by lub. Oil-pump.
- Governing: A sensible centrifugal type governor mounted on camshaft gear. Speed variation is controlled within limits to comply with class B1 governing as per IS: 11170. Class A2 gov. engine can be provided on demand for genset application.
- Cooling: Water cooled engine is continuous cooled by flow of water. Air cooled engine is cooled by air flow generated with the help of fan mounted on flywheel called conventional cooling.
- Rotation: Standard rotation is clockwise looking at the flywheel. Engine with reverse rotation can be provided on demand.
- Starting: The engine is designed for starting by hand. Electric start provision can also be provided against specific requirement.
- Drive: Standard power takes off is from flywheel side. Power take off from gear end at half speed can be provided on demand.
- Standard Accessories: Starting handle, Exhaust Silencer, Air Cleaner & Spanner Set, Screw Driver.
