These type of power supplies are used in the control panels of continuous running machines, power plants, chemical plants, fertilizer plants etc. These highly reliable power supplies run in a parallel, redundant mode. In case of failure of single power supply, the other power supply will continue to work to the full load. The hot-swappable arrangement makes it possible to replace faulty power supply without stopping the plant/machines.
