- Electrolytic Copper contacts with silver face.
- Rapture Chamber where the arc springs.[made out of high temperature resistance ceramic plate]
- Bimetal: Made out of two metals with different coefficient of expansion, bends downward at over loads there by tripping and breaker.
- Electromagnetic Relay: When the over load values exceeds the limits specified for different characteristic curves i.e. B & C a strong magnetic field is induced which results into the instantaneous, tripping of the breaker.
