These have various salient features: freedom in design alloy selection; smooth surface finish and close dimensional tolerances; eliminates/reduces machining operation; suitable for batch/mass production; letterings/numbering on castings possible; zero leakage on all castings; and weight 2 gm to 20 kg with minimum wall thickness 1.6 mm.
