These drag chains are totally enclosed or open type is useful wherever the required energy input cables/hoses are light, the travel is small and the environment conditions permit the use of plastics. These cable drag chains may find their applications in horizontal applications within the stated permissible unsupported length without additional supports. Some of the technical features of these drag chains which include: chain links and separating plates for taking the cables/hoses form a single unit in the electromag cable drag chains; individual chain links can be connected by a snap connection enabling them to be joined to form a chain of any required length.
