Textronik has introduced a highly accurate length measuring system for any type of machine and any roll-diameter. It has an accuracy better than 0.1% and linearity in length also better than 0.1%. This system comes in 4 models -basic, presettable, autoresettable and cumulative. In presettable model, relay output or logic output at desired length is obtained. It uses proximity switch as a non-contact type sensor. Memory backup facility is provided using e2prom. In panel mounting models, feather-touch keyboard [membrane switches] are used, which allow user-friendly operation. Dip switches/jumpers are used to set the diameter/perimeter in the system. It is a 4-digit length meter, 96 x 96 mm panel cutout size, can count up to 999.9 meter/9999 metre.
