The Data Transfer System is of different kinds:

• SSM cartridge station: for manual data transfer

• Short distance radio: for automatic, user-friendly data transfer within 300m, free of charge

• Mobile Radio [GSM]: transmission fee-based, global reach, depends on network covered by the provider

• Wireless-LAN-Adapter: free of charge, automatic data transfer within 300m, only ADIS/ADED-format

• Internet [GPRS]: chargeable, global range, depends on network covered by the provider
