This clip on power factor meter consist of a measuring instrument and split core current transformer coupled with phase angle sensing transducer. The riken clip on power factor meter is capable of measuring power factor over wide current range in model 2020 7 to 500 a, model 2021 150 to 1000 a. Riken clip on power factor meter can be applicable in single-phase 230 v or 3-phase 415/440 v system. The instrument is available clipped over current carrying conductor line for sensing current and the potential is connected between line and neutral. The riken clip on power factor meters are available with salient features of compact lightweight, rugged and portable design for easy single hand operation. The machine is equipped with transformer jaws which accept up to 50 mm dia conductors, deeply recessed voltage and test lead plugs to make it more safe against any misuse and can withstand up to 2000 v ac for one minute voltage.
