These stepper motor drives functions based on the principle of current pulse width modulation for switching of currents through windings of the stepper motor. The instrument is available with salient features like low cost, compact design; drive unipolar/bipolar stepper motor; 230 v ac 50 hz operated mains; built-in dc power supply and stepper motor drive logic generation; approx 40 to 900 pps frequency ranges [other frequency available on request]; handle up to 1.6 a/phase max current; 50 w max power handling capacity; ttl compatible control signals; emi/rfi filter surge suppressor for safe operation and suitable for low torque, low speed applications. The stepper motor drive comes with two operating modes, each one selected by a front panel selector switch. The stepper motor drives are available with other advantages such as manual mode control in terms of direction, start/stop and precise smooth speed control through ten turn potentiometer; the auto mode accepts direction, clock for speed control, motor winding energize/de-energize when motor is not in motion and full step/half step control inputs for motor operation.
