Light Grade Magnesium Oxide, also called magnesia is a white hygroscopic solid mineral that occurs naturally as periclase. The Magnesium Oxide is a source of magnesium and consists of a lattice of Mg2+ ions and O2- ions held together by ionic bonds. The Magnesium Oxide has a density of 3.58 g/cm ³ and a melting point of 2,852 degree C. The Light Grade Magnesium Oxide is soluble in water and helps in the treatment of effluent.
