Product Profile of Fire Sealant In-Tumescent Putty
Fire Sealant In-tumescent Putty is water based non-flammable, acrylic intumescent mastic. The In-tumescent Putty expands many times its volumes at temperature about 200 Degree C, forms hard char by encasing evolved gases and seals all the gaps by exerting pressure to make it smoke, gas and water tight. The In-tumescent Putty is grey in colour and can be applied at a temperature ranging from + 5 Deg. C to 140 Deg C. The Fire Sealant In-tumescent Putty exhibits fire resistance for continuous 4 hours.
Applications of the Fire Sealant In-tumescent Putty:
- It is ideal putty for sealing small to medium sized penetrations.
- Seals single and bunched cable penetrations
- Seals areas around flammable pipes up to 50 mm diameter.
- Seals areas around insulated metal pipes.
- It can be used for penetration up to a maximum 200 mm diameter and square opening up to 300 cm. Sqr
- The joints between fire walls and floors from 150mm thick can be sealed.
- It seals breaches and irregular openings in fire walls and floors.
