Micron engineering corporation provides ds series, double shut off coupler. The coupler plug is pushed into socket, it is then securely held by the self-locking arrangement resulting in positive and leak proof connection. This action simultaneously opens the valve and the flow of fluid starts. To disconnect, the sleeve of the socket has to be pulled back, the plug ejects and valve shuts off automatically. Some of the double shut off couplers have application like: on fluid line connections like air, gases, liquids, steam oil, etc., used in chemical petroleum, pharmaceutical, automotive, refrigeration and other industrial uses. Specifications: material of construction - stainless steel and brass; size - ¼ and 3/8; working pressure - 40 kg/cm²; pressure resistance - 60 kg/cm²; suitable fluid - air, gases, automotive and refrigeration; and seal material - viton, nitrile, hnbr and epdm.
