Vickers Type Hardness Tester is suitable for checking hardness of steel and other metals. The Tester has loads which are applied with dead weights and are selectable with push buttons. The Tester ensures that loading cycle is started with push button in the front where-as unloading is done manually by hand lever. The Tester is designed with various accessories such as electrical cord, 2.5 mm ball indentor, 5.0 mm ball indentor, 2.5 mm balls, 5 mm balls, instruction manual etc. The Tester ensures measurement of diagonal/ diameter of indentation is done with the help of built in optical system with built-in micrometer scale. The Vickers Type Hardness Tester has the feature that after taking the indentation on work piece, objective lens is automatically swivelled in position and indentation image appears on the focussing screen fitted in front of the machine.
