Bie offers a microprocessor based system designed for use with standard two-plane hard bearing type dynamic balancing machines [fbm series]. The system digitally computes the unbalanced amount and angles for both the correction planes simultaneously and shows the results on a digital display. The overall system involves sophisticated instrumentation to give better reliability, higher accuracy, increased flexibility and ease of operation. Apart from standard features, this machine also incorporates many additional ones taking into consideration the fast growing requirements of industries. The front panel of the microprocessor based system has a keypad for date and command entry, and a display system for simultaneous display of amount and angle of both the correction planes. Front panel also has various leds for different indications. The system is provided with features like data entry for constants, entry of tolerances, program selection, selection of correction mode, rotor, date, logging, calibration, printer interface, and speed display. The system is so designed that it can adopt any rotor within the technical limitations of the machine and can be balanced very fast and efficiently. The machine is convenient for regular production of different types of rotors either in batch or small quantity.
