Diplast plastics has launched pvc pipes for soil and waste dischargeupvc pipes for soil and waste discharge system inside building including ventilation and rain water system. Diplast plastics limited is now offering swr pipes with rubber gasket joints to ensure leak proof service. These pipes and fittings are approved by the civil engineering division council and manufactured as per is 13592-1992. There are two types of pipestype of pipes type one for use a : for use in ventilation pipe work and rain water application and type b :second ffor use in soil and waste discharge systems. These pipes are manufactured in different thicknesses. As per following standards:- all dimensions in millimetres nominal outside : 75, 90, 110 mean outside diameter : min 75.0, 90.0, 110.0, max : 75.3, 90.3, 110.4, wall thickness type a : min 1.8, 1.9, 2.2, max : 2.2, 2.3, 2.7 wall thickness type b : min 3.2, 3.2, 3.2 max : 3.8, 3.8, 3.8 length of the pipe: the pipe shall be supplied in standard lengths of 2 or 3 metres. These pipes are replacement of ci pipes and ac pipes. They which are fire resistant due to self extinguishing properties. As they are light in weight,, they are easy in transportation and can be cut and installed at site and has better flow properties due to smooth inner surface. Diplast pvc pipes do not become pitted or tuberculated and are thus unaffected by fungi and bacteria. Due to smooth inner surface, there is no harbouring of solid matter. These pipes are also not affected by acids used for cleaning drains. Life expectancy of diplast rigid pvc pipes is more than 50 years.
