Gmt metrology offers granite surface plates. These plates are designed as per precision standards using the highest quality granite. These plates can be used for inspection in the laboratory, tool room or shop floor to a high level of accuracy. The plates are made without any ledge. Experienced technicians have lapped and hand finished these machines. And rigorous quality control inspection is done at all stages. The final inspection is done by high precision computerised electronic level equipment. These plates are equipped in four grades. Grade 00 is of laboratory grade; this grade is specified typically for precision operations in constant temperature gauging rooms and metrology departments. Grade 0 is of inspection grade; this grade is specified typically for general work in quality control. Grade 1 is of tool room grade that is specified for production checking work through the shop. Grade 2 is for shops specified general inspection. The company also provides surface plate stands fabricated of heavy angle iron and reinforced to assure rigidity. The stands are provided with 3 leveling screws for the granite surface plates. The overall working height of the stand with plate will be 1 meter from floor level. The stands can be offered with castors, if required.
