Delta electricals manufactures a range of motors in single/3-phase configurations. Configuration specifications: single phase motors are available in 0.25 hp/o.1 8 kw to 3 hp/2.2 kw ratings in frame sizes b56, 100, 112 and 132. The synchronized rpm is 3000, 1500 and insulation, b, e, f class. The enclosure: spdp, tefc. Applications of the single phase motors: flour mills, domestic pumps, machine tools surgical/vacuum pumps, diamond polishers, air blowers, etc. Standard of manufacture: bs 2048 part 1 for dimensions of 0.25 hp to 1 hp motors for dimensions above 1 hp to 3 hp motors; and is 996 and is 1231 for performance. All the motors are supplied with c3 ball bearings. Bearing housings are so designed that grease is retained in housing and are adequately protected against penetration of dust, dirt and damp. Lubrication: all bearings are fully charged with lithium base grease at the time of assembly and no further lubrication is required for two years normal running. However, motors are also available with pre-lubricated sealed bearings.
