Bullows paint equipment has introduced backward laminar centrifugal fans, model cbl. Centrifugal fans for general industrial applications have for long been prone to accumulation of solids, leading to imbalance and consequent high vibrations and db levels above those needed for safe working. These backward laminar fans are made under technical knowledge from the uk. These are ideally suited for general industrial applications and are available in three widths to provide various operating capacities economically and effectively. As their unique flat blade design is not prone to accumulation of solids, these fans are manufactured to cope with moisture and dust laden [up to 8 gm/m3] air or gas and as a result these fans retain their installed balance for longer periods. These fans are made of robust all-welded steel with a dynamically balanced impeller as per specifications. Proprietary top quality motors, drives and bearings are used as standard. Belt drive arrangements can be offered with pulleys selected to provide the optimum fan speed from a standard motor drive. A direct driven arrangement also comes as a more compact and economical option where a suitable motor speed matches the required fan speed. The direct driven fan is also specified for speed controlled motor drives, providing energy and running cost savings, particularly on large fans running at varying flow rates. The cbl impeller may also be used in a double width fan configuration for higher flow.
