Goelgroup manufactures enviroscan which is a special system that continuously measures soil moisture over multiple depths in a crop`s root zone pinpointing, how often and how much to irrigate. Enviroscan consists of probes housed in access tubes in the soil. The probes have multiple sensors located at multiple depths, with each probe accommodating up to 16 sensors. The sensors continuously monitor soil moisture taking readings at each sensor as frequently as every minute.
