ITC is the most spread provider of Food & Cosmetic colorants in both the Synthetic & Natural forms. ITC`s food colours from natural sources are marketed under the VARNACOL trade name. ITC offers Beetroot Red color obtained from Red beetroot. The shade obtained is Pink to Red. Beetroot Red is a water-soluble colour with limited stability to heat, light and oxidation. Most stable between pH 3.5-5.0. Most suited to frozen, dry or short shelf-life products not subjected to prolonged heating.
