Acrabond adhesives supplies two types of epoxy compounds. These are:
I] epoxy resin hardner acratite - this is a 2 component epoxy resin and polyamide hardener based strong adhesive, available in two grades -
A. Grade 86: general purpose grade, used for structural bonding; and
B. Grade 87: transparent film.
These are used for marble fixing and glass bonding. Main feature is its flexibility and impact resisting property;
Ii] epoxy putty acra seal- this is a 2 part epoxy resin and hardener based putty compound used for sealing, fixing, bonding, mending and insulating applications. This is available in two grades:
A. Grade 88 - epoxy resin putty and polyamide hardener putty mixed in 1:1 ratio by volume. Used for all gap filling, bonding and sealing applications setting time is 4- 8 hours at room temperature; and
B. Grade 89 - fine aluminium metal filled putty used for filling casting irregularities, mending cracks and blowholes in over sized housings and rejected castings enabling it for use.
