Western electronic appliances offers flammability test apparatus for unsaturated polyester cast resin model-b wfr-028. The apparatus is designed as per is:6746-1994. It has mainly a three-sided draught free metallic screen, 1200 â± 25 mm high, 300 â± 25 mm wide and 450 â±25 mm deep, with open front and closed top and bottom. The base is non-metallic and its chamber is provided with suitable clamp, to clamp one end of the specimen in such a way that longitudinal axis of the specimen remains horizontal, and its transverse axis is at 45â° to the horizontal, and the line on the specimen is clearly visible. Another clamp, placed 6 mm below the first is provided to hold a clean wise gauze [7 metre liner] 125 mm square in horizontal position. A bunsen burner is also given centrally under the free end of the specimen such that the top and of burner is kept 50 mm vertically below the longitudinal axis of the specimen.
