Fluke corporation, a world leader in compact, professional electronic test tools, has manufactured the latest range of fluke 707 loop calibrator which are portable, process calibration tools. The fluke 707 come in ergonomic design combining the best of knob-based and button-based loop calibrators in one device. These loop calibrator are compact and easy to hold as technicians can easily operate the tool with just one hand. The machine is just six inches [152 mm] in length and weighing a mere 12 ounces [340 grams], the fluke 707 is a rugged, reliable calibration tool that can source, measure, and simulate loop current. The fluke 707 is two and a half times more accurate than other conventional loop calibrator with a 0.015 per cent accuracy and 1 µa resolution in any current mode. With a 24 v internal loop supply it provides the user to power and read a transmitter at the same time using a single instrument. The fluke 707 provides simultaneous milliampere and percentage of span readouts which makes it ideal for process instrument technicians in the primary metals, refining, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and power generation industries. The salient features of selectable slow ramp, fast ramp, and step functions provide the user with test signals needed for valve slewing and loop functional tests, allowing a single technician to troubleshoot the entire loop. The span check function instantly selects zero and 100 percent of span outputs. A 25 per cent button conducts quick linearity checks at 25 per cent steps, and the innovative new knob style allows fine and coarse adjust vernier with 1 µa and 100 µa resolution. The calibrator can measure loop power supply voltages up to 28 v dc.
