Technical trade links presents the compact fluke 1507 and 1503 insulation testers. The special aspect of the digital insulation testers is that it has the ability to deliver multiple test voltages with rugged reliability and ease of operation for a wide range of troubleshooting, commissioning and preventive maintenance applications. Also, the fluke 1507 features automatic one-button calculation of polarization index and dielectric absorption ratio and also has compare pass/fail function designed to ease repetitive testing. Both the fluke 1507 and 1503 include a new remote test probe that enables one-handed insulation testing via a button on the probe handle for convenient use in hard-to-reach places. The fluke 1507 provides insulation resistance testing up to 10 gigohms, with five output voltages ranging from 50 to 1000 v. The fluke 1503 tests up to 2,000 megohms of resistance with either 500 or 1,000 v.
