Alloy steel spindle hardened and ground rotates on precision p4 class bearing. Wheel head has a very rigid spindle running in conical bronze bearing bush. The quill is carried in precision pre-loaded antifriction sleeve and it is kept under adjustable spring load. The wheel head slide has a unique hydro mechanical feed system. Drop down internal grinding attachment is optional. This independent motor drive attachment can be fitted subject to component suitability.
