To satisfy the demand of oil and moisture free air for advanced machines using compressed air, the spantech air purification system comes with necessary equipments, which removes most of the contaminants from compressed air by a three-step separation process. The air purification system consists of a centrifugal moisture separator and an oil removal filter. The centrifugal moisture separator removes solids and liquids by cyclonic separation. Fine liquid mist is separated in the ss demister screen fixed at the top of the air purification system. The air, by then containing only oil and water vapours, reaches to the oil removal filter where special microfibre elements separate the oil vapour by coalescence process. Common drain piping having isolation valves drains out the contaminants collected in both the equipments. As per requirement draining can be manual or automatic. Installing the air purification system is advantageous for almost all compressed air applications because it supplies air to user devices free from contaminants which would otherwise be harmful to these devices [eg control valves and cylinders], thereby reducing maintenance costs. The spantech air purification system also prevents contaminants from damaging products in contact with air as in the case of weaving, twisting, texturising, pneumatic conveying, powder coating, spray painting, sand blasting chemical reactions, etc.
