Associated pneumatic tools has developed a lightweight portable pneumatic shearing tool for the purpose of cutting through sheets of mild steel and stainless steel. The technical specification includes: weight: 2 kg; blows per minute; 2,800, cutting action: the tool follows a reciprocating action and cuts through like a pair of scissors; cutting capacity: mild steel sheets of up to 2 mm thickness and stainless steel up to 1.6 mm; minimum cutting radius: the tool being flexible apart from straight lines, also makes it possible to manoeuvre the cutting along marked contours wherein the minimum cutting radius is up to 19 mm; standard accessories that is being provided : one set of hss hardened cutters which can be reground.
