Magnetic separators and controls offers a range of electro magnetic brakes - disc type brakes, ac/dc single disc brakes, shoe type ac/dc brakes and electro hydraulic thrustor operated shoe brakes. Ac/dc disc type failsafe brakes can be directly mounted on the free end side of motor and hence form part and parcel of the motor. Brakes with flameproof enclosure, approved by cmri - dhanbad, are also manufactured. Ac three phase electro hydraulic thrustor brake is a self-contained unit, with low power consumption, minimum maintenance, and an overload on thrustor that cannot cause damage to the motor. Armature is available with three springs with gap adjustment screws or spring steel riveted armature gives zero backlash operation.
