Ascent automation manufactures programmable logic controller [plc]. They are off-the-shelf standard logic controllers and they can be used for automatic control, sequencing, timing, counting and logic based applications. The plc is based on a single chip design, which improves reliability of these controllers. Programmable logic controller is compact, low power, reliable and maintenance free replacements for the conventional relay logic panels.
An application that requires interlocking, logic, timing, counting and/or automatic control can be realised using these plcs. Typical applications in which they have been used are injection moulding machines, garment finishing machines, presses, hydraulic machinery, simple machine tools, building automation, special purpose machines to name a few.
The plcs are programmed using simple english-like language called c l a r i t y which can convert your logic description, almost directly, in to the plc program. Symbolic names can be assigned to inputs, outputs, flags, timers and counters
