Polyquip offers rotary gear pumps. A rotary gear pump works on the principle of positive displacement. The liquid is carried around in the space between the gear teeth and the pump body and constantly forced out as the teeth mesh against each other. The rotary pumps are available in different moc combinations, viz, ci/ en-8, ci/ss, bronze/en-b, full ss construction from sizes of 1/2" x 1/2" to 6" x 6", up to 900 lpm capacity. When the pumping liquid is at higher temperature the pumps can be provided with jacketing arrangements to maintain the temperature in the casing. For high viscous liquids, the pumps are run at lower rpm with the help of v-belt pulley or reduction gear unit arrangements.
