Luthra import substitute industries manufactures continuous reciprocating type pneumatic cylinders which are used in applications where there is restriction of space to mount the limit switches in the effective working area. The pneumatic cylinder has automatic reciprocating motion as the limit switches are built inside the cylinder itself. The entire unit can be mounted and installed by just giving one inlet air connection. On giving this connection, the piston starts reciprocating to and fro without any stoppage. Minimum operating pressure is 2 bar. The speed of forward and reverse stroke can be independently controlled by using flow controls provided on the exhaust of the valve mounted on the cylinder. Applications include where continuous reciprocation is required and limit switches are not desired. The pneumatic cylinder is also used in those areas where no electrical contacts are desired, the cylinder being totally pneumatic.
