These oil cleaners are capable of removing contaminants of size as small as 0.01 micron and cleaning the oil up to nas level 4-5, ie, better than new oil [new oil nas level is nas 9-12], giving trouble-free operation and maintenance free units. These systems use electrostatic precipitation to remove sub-micron particles of insoluble material, without effecting soluble oil additives. Tiny particles are electrostatically driven to, and then captured on, the positively or negatively charged walls of electrodes. Large particles are trapped in the resin impregnated cellulose filter. The machines come with special dehydration attachment capable of removing moisture/water contents up to 5,000 prm compared to any other brand limiting them to only 500 ppm.
