Crane control equipments manufactures lever type limit switch, which is widely used for heavy duty eot cranes, wagon shunting devices, etc, to prevent over travel or over traverse on power and control circuit up to 500 v ac, 50 cycles/second and 40 a current rating. This lever type limit switch normally remains closed and cuts oil power to stop the motor of the crane. The limit switch operates when it reaches a pre-determined position when the lever is moved over a projecting member attached on the girder. The contacts of the limit switch are automatically reset when the lever returns to zero position due to spring action. The covering of the switch is made of sheet steel duly reinforced to provide exceptional rigidity. The cam shaft of the switch is mounted in the housing on moulded bushes of synthetic material fixed to the front and rear walls. This limit switch from crane control is also made in ip-54 enclosure. The housing of the switch is made of cast iron/cast aluminium. The base and cover of the limit switch have machined surface to offer protection against dirt and dust. The cams themselves are made from the highest quality synthetic material and are precisely cut to match the switching sequence.
