Product Profile of Anti-corrosive, Non-toxic And Anti-rust [vci] Film

Om Engineers offers Anti-corrosive, Non-toxic and Anti-rust [VCI] Film. This product is available in the form of sheets, bags and rolls. Anti-corrosive, Non-toxic and Anti-rust [VCI] Films are volatile solids coated or extruded along with LDPE, which saturate empty space around metals while in an enclosed atmosphere. Moisture trapped within is used by this product, as an electrolyte to form an invisible gaseous layer around metal surface. This layer offers maximum protection to metal surface even under severe corrosive atmosphere. Protection is also offered to those films which are not covered with conventional rust preventive mediums like oils and grease. Anti-corrosive, Non-toxic and Anti-rust [VCI] Film has the tearing strength of 120 gms per 25 micron film. The Water Vapor Tearing Rate [WVTR] is 0.8 gms per square meter in 24 hours. Om Engineers Anti-corrosive, Non-toxic and Anti-rust Film is used for packing of machined ferrous and non ferrous components, castings and forgings, bearings, piston rings, liners and crca strips, bars and wires.
