Shavo technologies offers ionising blow guns. Model 955 fan-driven, ionising blowguns remove static charge and dust in a wide range of industrial applications. The portability of the gun means that a single unit can be used at many different locations, while its swivel hose provides ease and flexibility of operation. A holster, with wall or floor mounting option, provides safe storage of the gun when it is not in use. The gun`s variable fan speed, providing air velocity of between 75 to 150 metres/see at discharge, means that it is suitable for applications requiring different levels of air velocity. An electrical centrifugal fan provides the high velocity airflow, thus avoiding the need for costly compressed air. Ionisation is provided by titanium emitters, located in the nozzle of the gun, powered by a high voltage dc source, producing fast processing times. The decay performance, 1,000 to 100 v, is typically less than 0.5 secs at 600 mm from the nozzle at maximum airflow. The gun has the advantage of a built-in alarm system, which provides easy check that the ionisation system is active. The 955 require only a single-phase 240 v supply, making the unit fully portable.
