Shavo technologies supplies compact wire rope isolators [cwri] into its existing wire rope isolator product family manufactured by enidine. The all-metal design of the enidine cwri [stranded 300 series ss cable and aluminum alloy retaining bars, treated per mil-c-5541] is unaffected by chemicals, oils, ozone and abrasives; and is especially suited for use in corrosive or hostile environments. Standard products can accommodate load capacities from 4 up to 34 kg; operate under temperature extremes of -100 to +260°c; and can readily conform to numerous military standards and industry specifications. The trend toward isolation of miniature electronic components led to the development of these isolators. Previously, vibration isolation under space-constraints required the use of a standard elastomer. This solution did not provide simultaneous shock and vibration and was not as resilient to temperature extremes or hostile environments.
