Digital coat meter-m is designed for measuring non magnetic coating on magnetic [ferrous] base material such as m.S. The instrument has an excellent calibration facility with zero and cal + & - membrane switches. Test foils and test pieces are provided to facilitate the user to set the instrument to utmost accuracy. The instrument has spring loaded probe for constant force. The probe has v groove for cylindrical parts. The instrument works on 9 volts dry battery and has an auto off facility to extend the battery life. It has a measuring range of 0-1200 microns with a resolution of 1 micron. The reading is displayed on lcd display.
