There is a special switch for high dc load of 3 a, 250 v dc, dpdt contact for two independent circuit control. The switch have longevity - mechanical [200 million operations] and electrical [15 million operations]. The range of limit switches include general purpose, enclosed, multiple head and tactile switches are available with or without led/neon lamp indication and connector terminal. These are suitable for use in demanding industrial environments as they come in oil and watertight enclosure/welding spatter proof/explosion proof enclosures.
