Premium engineers pvt. Ltd has introduced turbo classifier mill which is an equipment for fine grinding. The feed material is fed at the centre and the rotor is dynamically balanced and has beaters with suitable rake angle. The rotor is rotating inside the chamber which is the stator with serration. The gap between the rotor edge and stator is very small. The combination of this and the high speed of rotation of the equipment is able to produce fine powders. The turbo classifier mill has a classification system which permits fine powder to be withdrawn from the grinding chamber and retain the coarse particles in the grinding chamber for further grinding. There is a substantial flow of air to keep the grinding chamber reasonably cool. Further, water cooling arrangement is also provided around the grinding chamber. A fan is provided at the discharge end which sucks fine particles from the grinding chamber and discharges them into the cyclone which is an optional supply. The turbo classifier mill is available in various sizes and is useful in fine grinding of chemicals and heat sensitive material.
