Premium group has developed a fine grinding equipment, which gives a very fine powder output. Grinding capability can be extended to 10 micron. Since this equipment is used for fine grinding only, input fineness it self will be of the order of 250 300 mesh [approx. 50 60 micron]. The material has to be fed in a regulated manner to achieve proper uniform grade of product. Grinding procedure: the equipment has three chambers. They are pin mill, whizzer chamber, and fan chamber. The input material is fed into the pin mill chamber. The input material is fed into the air stream entering into the pin whizzer mill. The mill chamber consists of a pin disc rotor and pin disc stator. The input material enters the fine grinder radially from outer periphery and reaches the centre of the disc for moving axially into the whizzer chamber. Major pulverising and classification is done in the pin mill chamber. The whizzer chamber can be easily opened for adjusting whizzer blades without dismantling any other part of the equipment. The last fan chamber contains the built in fan, which is mounted on the main shaft. Versatility and customization: this equipment is extremely versatile and can be used for a wide range of product and different class of particle size. In some drying application hot air is used as a conveying medium. Changing the position of whizzer blade and altering the number of vanes in the fan can change operating parameters.
