Lumetronics offers ip series integrating spheres. These are precision photometric equipment suitable for the research laboratory to evaluate the luminous flux of light sources and luminaires with a single measurement and also for comparative analysis. The equipment is manufactured as per the requirement of several indian and international standards specifications. The sphere is made of fibreglass reinforced plastic with an embedded steel frame for strength and rigidity. It has two hemispherical halves, one of which is supported on a rigid stand. The other half is hinged and can be opened for internal access. A magnetic clasp assures light-proof closure and easy opening. The sphere is equipped with an internal diameter of either 500 mm, 1,000 mm or 2,000 mm. One window is given at the centre of each hemisphere to observe and mounting of the photocell. Adjustable mounting is provided on the fixed hemisphere for light source. A baffle to screen direct light from reaching the photocell window is provided. An auxiliary lamp socket with screen is given on the movable hemisphere for correction and attenuation. Optionally, a specially designed photocurrent meter is available . The meter includes a precision photodetector with an amplifier and an lcd readout fitted in a compact case. The sphere can also be supplied with a complete electrical metering panel. A complete set of precision manufactured kelvin holders are available in various lamp cap configurations. Other options also include a precision digital lux meter and dc power supply. Additionally, a complete range of test/measuring equipment and calibration services are available.
