Superior engineers offers jaw-type magnetic drum separators for all types of cylindrical, internal surface, centreless, grinding, gear cutting, thread cutting machines, etc. These drum separators offer higher magnetic flux than conventional cylindrical type. They also eliminate spring-loaded rubber squeezers, which are subjected to wear and tear. The magnetic drum separators consist of rotating magnetic drums, which arrest all ferrous particles from the circulating coolant/cutting oils. The particles that adhere onto the surface of magnetic drums are scraped off by scrapers into swarf trays. The filtered coolant flows into the tank below from where it is delivered back to the machine tools by the delivery pump. The magnetic drum separator offers complete filtration resulting in better surface finish. They increase machine-tool life and cutting tool life along with the reusability of coolant considerably.
